ABOUT THE CASTLE ROCK SCHOOL - info for journalists
Situated in Coalville, The Castle Rock School educates over 1200 students aged from 11-18, across the secondary school and sixth form.
Castle Rock, previously a member of the Apollo Trust, joined the Lionheart Educational Trust in 2022. An Ofsted inspection in 2023 found the school had “transformed” since joining Lionheart, with four of the five criteria receiving a ‘Good’ grading.
The school employs around 150 staff and is led by Associate Principal, Mrs Roma Dhameja.
